Max, if the sensor is at the alum neck on the head,it is picking up both head and water temp average; it works fine,I agree,but true water temp has to be in rubber tube just before the rad;I have both in my Teryx,and it reads about 6 to 8 degrees diff,being the water temp sensor at the tube at the rad is lower
