I have looked on this forum & others & have got so so many mixed opinions. (welcome to the internet.. right?)

I have an 06 660 rhino, 3" highlifter lift, 27" mudlights, Gorilla axles.

I twisted the right rear in half on a rocky trail in WV. yanked the axle out & limped it around the rest of the day & ended up breakin the front left in the same place!!

Both twisted in two, inside the boot on the diff side. Boots were intact & not leaking before the axles breaking. The CV alxes stayed & the axles just twisted in two.

Im looking for replacement options. No B.S. He said She said. I have heard good and bad about: OEM(150$), Rhino brand(200$), ADR(119$), Gorilla(375$), Ebay(119$) etc..

If you have actually ran any of these for a good while (not installed last week) let me know. I cant afford Gorillas right now.

Sorry to be long winded. Just trying to cover the bases.

Thanks in advance!!

Show us your Discount Tire Rally on the Rocks "OOPS!!!"
What are we talking about?: We've all done it to some extent whether we'll admit it or not.... We've... forgot to fill our gas tank before a long trip and ended up taking a "lovely" hike home. We've parked "conveniently" on top of a rock just large enough to lift all 4 tires off the ground. We've shown off our UTV's new skid plates by "casually" tipping it onto its side and we've had fun "playing tag" with a fair number of trees that never chase back.... We're all experienced one shape or form of an "oops" and maybe it was our first but it certainly won't be out last.

So, we want to see what you or your buddy's "OOPS" from the 2013 Discount Tire Rally on the Rocks event. We're looking for pictures and/or videos of your "OOPS" and a brief description of what happened. We're going to compile our top 10 entries and include them in an article on our blog.

How to submit your entry: If you would like to to submit an entry please PM us a link to your picture or video or email it to forums@discounttire.com with subject line "Discount Tire ROTR OOPS!". Please include the date and general location of the incident, your contact information, and a brief story of what happened.

What could you WIN?: If we feature your entry in our article you will not only receive bragging rights among all of your friends but you will be entered into a random drawing to win a Discount Tire backpack full of swag. 1 lucky entry will win.

Rules: Submissions must be PG13 and may not include anything illegal. Please remember to tread lightly and be respectful of others. Submitter must have full rights to use of content and must allow Discount Tire to distribute and share it. There is no limit to the number of submissions you can send in but all submissions must have occurred in Moab during the week of the 2013 Discount Tire Rally on the Rocks in Moab, UT (May 12th-May19th, 2013). Deadline for submissions is May 24th.

Just a few months later Honda has expanded the Pioneer line with a two-seat version the Pioneer 700.
Though this can be off-roading at its best, there is one small nasty side to the mud riders' lifestyle when you realize you have not prepared properly for the big ride. Usually this fact rears its ugly head when ego overruns ability and you find yourself stuck or broken down.

As we have learned from participating in the awesome fun of mud riding, some things just need to be done to the ride you depend on if you want to make it out the other side.
