sell my rhino and probably lose that much just to go 10 mph faster?
not ready for that yet. maybe if I just had a stock 05 that was paid off.

True, and you might want it to be on the market for a little bit to see how reliable of a setup it it.....

I was pleasntly surprised. it looks kinda gay stock, but so does a rhino!!!

Can you get a good deal?
You know what is sad, all of our nice Rhino's with 20 plus k into them are worth maybe 15k to match a new Prowler. Would you buy my used Rhino or a new Prowler for 15k?

I will tell you guys right now.....a friend of mine is a cat dealer.....and he did not order any cats because they have some weak points. I know the tie rods have to be upgraded, the racks rip off the frame, and he has seen several that have had a arms ripped off. Personally for me....If I bought one i would drop it off to one of these get down fab guys like SCF and have EVERYTHING gusseted....and lose the tractor ass roll cage first and foremost.

i am gonna give my buddy Mike a call. He Built my Rhino and he was a Cat dealer two years ago. he was racing the other model cats against the Rhino's last year or the year before at Elsinore. I think he has the LT, doors, race cage and probably all the bells and whistles.

new cat 13k not 15
LT- 4K alraedy devoleped
doors, roof, cage seats and belts 3K
total 20K range. and now its safe.
it felt way better thana stock rhino does. its way wider, has 10.5 inches of travel, 3 more than a stock rhino. it sucks the bumps up way better than a stock rhino. with the same stuff we do to our rhinos it will be bad. no motor work necessary. with exhaust I'm sure it will sound mean, like a harley... obviosly it needs work, but the power platform is there and it haulls ass!!!!!!!!!!

I was involved in a test article for UTV Offroad Magazine in the dunes @ Buttercup in early August. We tested the 5 popular models in stock form. The RZR 800, Ranger 800, Rhino 700, Prowler 700 and Teryx 750. I had driven all but the Prowler before. I have to tell you that I was so impressed with the Prowler that when we moved from place to place for the tests and photo shots, I would grab the Prowler before anyone else would get it. Only two cars could climb to the top of Comp Hill at Buttercup, the Prowler was one of them. The others only got half way. I left the test with Arctic Cat on my mind and now we are planning a Desert Racing program using the Prowler as the platform. I'm just saying that the Arctic Cat Prowler 700 or 1000 should be a consideration if you are considering a new UTV. IMHO
