Yes it has a removable steering wheel, i am 6'3" and 220 and i fit in there nicely, keep in mind that the Production unit will have a 6" wider cab, this one is our corr racer.
The desing of the race version, is performance based.
The car is balanced 45/50 front to rear and 50/50 side by side.
It is designed to be a short course race car. Get in, race, win and get out.
No comforts, light weight, with Victory as a goal.
The Dual Sport 2 seat version will have the cup holders.
Ding ding we have a winner, Your right max it is the Cat Vtwin Hemi bored and stroked to 1400cc........ so that means we will have some huge power for the cat guys when those hit the floor dec or jan
at least I was the fastest for 1 dune season, this season is going to be off the hook with all these new FAST utv's. I expect to see some of em passing buggies.
Tom of Tom Pro Design was looking at building one with the 1300 cc busa motor...He was going to base it off his sand car and shorten it up a little to give it the stance of a rhino. It was going to run his 18"s of travel front end and stick with trailing arms in the rear like his sand cars have......I was up for one of those but he never did anything with it.unish:I'm going to have to give him a buzz and put it in his head again. I think the price tag was going to be in the 25K mark. I think that would be a kick in the parts....I just dont want to be in the classifyed as a mini buggy
Thats the same question I have too. Is DFR a manufacturer .. If so they will issue a title like a car. If not then you cant race corr unless its a stock frame and suspesion points and a factory engine in the factory location.
This car will meet all CORR rules, so it will not need its own class, but we met with Sissy Baldwin Saturday night, to discuss a class for the 950 motor.
It will depend on how many people commit to racing them.
Every time that question is asked the thread goes dead.. guess they dont want to talk about it..
