Default Alamo Lake, AZ - 25 Nov 2009

Had an incredible trip to Alamo Lake for Thanksgiving. A huge thanks to Casey (NEVERENOUGH) and Wayne for hooking everyone up with the deep fried turkeys.

I had never been to the Alamo Lake area before, and I have to say it is excellent...some great riding and scenery. Granted, a lot of time the success of a trip has to do with the company.

Anyway, it was a great time and I will definately be back. Here are a few pictures, however, you can view some more in the following album:

Thanks, ya it was really cool...obviously a lot different than the sand, but very cool nonetheless.

Can you post directions or gps coordinates to the camping spots? That looks like a great place to camp and ride.

Alamo Lake is about 60 miles west of Wickenburg...just north of Wenden.

Piece of cake, take the 60 all the way to Wenden, when you enter Wenden, follow the sign to Alamo State Park...you will be heading north, 28 miles

What area of the lake/park did you camp in? Where were those ravines you were riding through?
