Video - HRT Pro Kart @ Primm Race

Sunday 4/5/09 Modified Kart race from the inaugural Lucas Oil Off Road Series race at Primm, NV. This is both footage from the grand stands and the on board camera in one video. Brandon Arthur is shown driving the yellow HRT Pro Kart, #556, in his first weekend ever racing a modified kart.
Brandon qualified 5th, and our 2nd kart qualified by Dave Mason Jr qualified 6th. Dave Jr moved through the field steadily to finish on the podium with a 2nd place finish while Brandon hung on to get 8th after a spin. Brandon also set the 2nd fastest lap of the race. Both drivers are still getting used to the trucks and are looking forward to the next race.
Overall we are pleased with the progress considering how young this program is, and will continue to make the trucks both work and look better. We will be doing more testing and development with suspension, tires, and working on getting our production bodies finished. The bodies are still being built so we had to run them this weekend with some development bodies.

these two from HRT have Honda 450 eletric start trx?? motors in them. rules state all factory internal parts I believe. and of course Chris being the honda guy he is, he knows what Factory parts get more power!

Alot of the quad is used for these Pro Karts, harness, radiator/fan, engine, rear brakes and sprocket, rear hubs, key switch and indicator lights, CDI (upgradeable), modified stock exhaust can be used also and some other small stuff.

these are capable of 80mph range
