Default Thanks WER

I would just like to take the time to thank Walker Evans Racing for completely giving me the shaft and fucking me out of 50 bucks! I sent my shock in for repair under warranty on Monday… UPS said they would receive it Tuesday, It was leaking oil out of the reservoir. I called Wednesday to check the status of my shock and informed them that it was needed this Sunday for an important ride with family from Alaska, they stated that it would not be a problem and it was already repaired they changed out a faulty Schrader valve and were getting ready to recharge it and send it back the next day, Thursday. I called them today, Friday, and they stated that they were too busy and haven’t shipped it out yet and I should have in next Tuesday… not acceptable. So I requested that it be overnighted in hopes that they would pick up the tab for making the mistake, they refused to pay for it. Its not the money that upsets me, it’s the fact that a company isn’t willing to foot the bill when it was there mistake. I’m not saying that WER makes a bad product…. But its customer service issues like this that are going to make guys like Steve (Makin Trax) and his top notch service a valuable asset to the offroad community, if only I new then what I do now……
