West of El Centro on i-8 then north of Ocotillo in the edge of the mountains. I haven't been there since the 60s. My friends have been recently & said it is a technical ride with beautiful scenery. I think it is in the Anza Borrego area.

No where Id wanna go, that place just plain sucks, stay away, go to the dunes insted....with fireworks and glass beer bottles....and guns, yea guns. Lots of them.
Search zip 92259 on google maps, that will get you pretty close, 6 miles NE of Ocotillo.

I was told that it looks like the hills have eyes & there are old cars & trailers around. We will be in the hills above. There also used to be a nudist colony with lots of old geezers, something none of us need to see.

I hope my sarcasm didnt scare anyone away, it really a cool ride and a seasonal trail so its only availble to ride 6 months a year plus Double D is a good guide.
Heres a shitty phone pic from one of the turn outs about two years ago.

Good ride.
