Calling all Pismo Riders - This concerns you
Does everyone know Pismo is in trouble of closing?
I'm desperatly trying to reach any and all people who frequent the dunes at Pismo? I am representing the Friends of Oceano Dunes, website: Friends of Oceano Dunes :: which has been targeted by the Sierra Club and the Center for Biological Diversity for complete closure. We've successfully battled these orgs for the past 7 years but it is getting tougher. We need your help.
Go here for the facts http://www.oceanodunes.org/documents/2007/...-Fact-Sheet.pdf
Anyway, we are having our 7th annual Crab Feed fundraiser at the Kings County Fairgrounds in Hanford, Ca on March 21st and it is my hope that we can sell the place out. The cost is $40 each or $70 per couple. Corporate Sponsors are also welcome.
And we need "Swag" from you vendors for the raffle!
Click here for more info http://www.oceanodunes.org/events/2009/crabfeed2009.pdf
Go here to purchase tickets http://www.oceanodunes.org/index.php?modul...lCart&cid=5
Most importantly, please notify everyone you know about this. 70% of the parks visitors come from the central valley and most dont even know its under threat of closure.
Please Help where you can.

If they brought the event to bakersfield it probably would sell out. I went to 2 different events in hanford and it was 70% bakersfield people. I'll try to make it. The tree hugger fags have been trying for years.

Thank you BR , I will have someone call you soon.
Are there any other Vendors who want to help? Perhaps there's some slow moving inventory you would like to unload or even just a little company swag laying around. The higher the quality of the product the better as it keeps people coming back each year. We auction or raffle off everything. Your company name will be mentioned as the donor and your donation is tax deductible
If you can help please send me a PM and I'll give you the contact information.
Thank you

Big Jim...let me respond to this...and being my first post..I hope not to offend..but...
We have wanted to have an event in Bakersfield..problem is this...
those willing to give their time and effort all live in the central valley (Fresno area) we have asked (myself included) if anyone was willing to organize an event in the Bakersfield area...NO ONE EVER DOES... I will say this..that when it comes to getting support...we hardly get any from around that area.
We have settled in the Hanford area, because it is "central" for those that attend, furthermore the track promoter donates the building to us.
SO with that, if anyone (yourself included)is willing to organize a fundraising event in your area, we are willing to help/support make phone calls etc..do what we can from here, you would get 100% support from us.....we just don't have the manpower or ablility to do it alone.
Anyone please feel free to contact me if you wish...559.903.3875
P.S. THANKS BAKERSFIELD RHINO!!!
