Default brute force 750 engine swap idea?

a kawi in a yamaha!,.....you can pick up wrecked brute force 750 quads alot cheaper than can ams, just wondering what anybodies take is on the kawi motor? I bet with a big bore and some porting and carbs in the littlier rhino chassis it might be a runner??? Or am I full of chit?...the rhino being over 125#s lighter than a teryx might be a deadly combo, run a bed delete and some dialed in resovoir shocks and plus having the tunability of a set of carbs instead of injection might be an added bonus?

Why don't you just buy a Teryx?

Default teryx

not too impressed with the teryx and kawi's ideas...bigger isn't always better in some cases, but I'm sure yamaha won't up the size of the rhino motor with a vtwin, too many lawsuits. so buying a new side by side and then having to upgrade it also sounds bla...but a engine swap for a few grand sounds appealing?
If anybody knows of somebody with a brute motor in their rhino, can they get some pics or info?

Yes, it is a great idea. I have been contemplating that exact swap for a while.
I say go for it!

Would this be an easier swap than the rotax ? therefore cheaper to do ?

Default brute

I think interphasing the FI wireloom and ecm as opposed to interphasing the bruteforce would be alot easier too,I bet u could use a hiperf rhino mikuni vacuum fuel pump to fuel the brute and then leave/utilize the stock rhino fueltank..I'd bet a piped and jetted brute force rhino would run right next to an FI outy 800...the performance out of both seems compatable? Plus the parts are cheap aftermarket wise to big bore and hotrod the brute...I've seen brutes go for as low as $1200 on auction websites...

That and Muzzy has a big bore kit for about a grand for the Teryx, same block etc as the brute force right? I am going to copyright Rhinex and Teryno in the morning!
