How to get a rotax, cheaper
according to mrrpm, the rotax 650 just needs some jugs,pistons and remapping to be a 800 or even 840,1004 c.c's
Finding a cheap 650 is much easier than an 800
so, there is is your tip o the day.

No kidding.
Here's the key question.
Whats the cost to add larger jugs, pistons, etc. and remap it?

Not bad.
Do you go through John for that or other rotax specific people?
I REALLY want to do I've just been tryong to justify it for years. Actually ever since I drove yours A-HOLE. hahaha

check it out, this is the guy with all the rotax stuff, he really knows these motors
MrRPM
I'm having john build it, but greg did my cylinders and I bought the 840 pistons and springs from him, everything else came from ron woods.
I'm also changing the stock clutch to a comet.
