i have a similer set up on my company trucks. it works great if you have a business with multiple company vehicles.

I use a trackstick I got it from a security web site its pretty cool shows me all my trails and stuff that I took. go here and check it out

I saw some run on battery and some can be hard wired in the ones that are hard wired have some sort of activation fee and monthly payment.
