Hose clamps on CV boots

Anyone out there try hose clamps on their cv boots? My boots seem to slip a bit and I think hose clamps would cinch down better.

rhinomafia used them on my boots whenever they did repairs.
they seem to work just fine.

Tighten them down good on the CV but leave a little lose on the axel side (so they can move) and you should be good to go.

I have run them and they work fine. I just ran them on the CV side and used a regular CV style clamp on the axle side. They came in handy one time when the motorhome broke a hose clamp on the intercooler hose a little McGiver work.
