You guys noticing any difference in temp with smoothies??
I hate blowing head gaskets, but it happens. I've always ran every tire other than paddles out at dunes, and always have to watch my temp... You guys in paddles always cool??? or do you find yourself watching your custom autometer gauge as well? I have the PWR coolers in the rhino I speak of, but still gets hot after motoring hard..... Is it that much easier on a rhino motor to run the paddles??? I already know that it motors better, just wondering if I will be running a lil healthier too??
I also ask cuz I am planning on getting another set of smoothie/ paddles for the stocker as well......

could not tell you tire to tire, but sand in general is a big drag on these machines and wanting to go as fast as you possible can at all times and hills ect, is why the temps are up no matter what the tire IMO.

cool. I figured you can get it to run hot paddle or not, but for the typical motoring that you are used to doing, maybe theres a difference. Well, I feel more confident about not messin my motor up now. Last trip, 2 of my buddys blew their headgaskets. No paddles, and stock radiators..... I've done it too.... k thx

High compression will always run hotter. I droped mine back to 11:1 from 12:5to get rid of my over heating issues. I also wired my fan so that it runs all the time with the key and added the alba 3 pass radiator.
