My 07 Rhino runs well at idle but when I take it out it will run for 3 min and it quits. I can start it right up again and go for another 3 min and it quits again this can continue on and on. I changed from the vacuum fuel pump and installed a electric fuel pump from Black Rhino (installed a power block as well) so I wouldn't have a power issue to the fuel pump. I have installed clear fuel lines to monitor fuel flow, I checked all of the vents.
It ran well when I bought it in 2016 (took a long dusty ride with friends and it ran great (it was just hard to start after sitting for a couple of days) then it started to stop when I was out on short rides (of course with the wife, no fun at all) I would let it set and it would start up again. I found old cracked fuel and vacuum lines, I replaced them all, changed fuel filters and would think that I fixed it I would go out again and problems are still there. This is when I decided I would solve all of my problems and went to the Electric fuel pump got it installed and took it out for a test drive and start it up run for 3 min and it stops. Does anyone have any ideas? Carburetor? Float valve? I called Black Rhino to see if the pump had an internal pressure regulator (overpressure the carbonator) I was told that the pump is very low pressure and doesn't need to be regulated. I need some ideas that I might be overlooking.
