Default Rhino 660 "cutting out" at higher RPM's

I have a Rhino that when I start accelerating it literally dog's or cut's out before it can reach maximum speed (probably does it around 25-30 MPH). There are no major issues with the engine (oil is clean, no smoke, backfires, etc...). Has anyone experienced this before? It almost sounds like it loses gas or air for a second and acts like it is going to lose power. It happens no matter if it is cold or hot. Any help!!!

start with the fuel filter, common problem, if that doesn't fix it, probably the pump

Also blow air thru the pick up tube. I have seen a goo like build up in them. Check that when you replace the filter....most likely you problem lies there somewhere
