hello, i have a 2008 700 and i'm looking to add the msd controller. does anyone know if anything else would be needed besides the msd controller?

Depends on what you are trying to achieve,if just getting rid of the rev limit then just get the msd

i'm looking to gain some responce... i hate having the lay into the pedal to get the machine moving and with that comes the crazy noise... will the msd help with any of this?

NOT SO MUCH ON THE RESPONSE BUT AS SOON AS YOU ADD CLUTCHING EXHAUST ETC, THEN THE MSD REALLY HELPS

No. you should check out your clutch, it may have need of maintenance

I just put in the Hunterworks OD weights and sliders, they work.
Bone stock otherwise and I just hit 51 on a slight up hill and did not hit the limiter yet.
It seems to keep the buggie in the powerband longer also, which helps.
I will know for sure this weekend when I take the buggie out and play more.
If you take the sheave off to do maint. might as well add these so you gain something.
