Oh man, there is a lot of history on Safeglo whips - there was an incident that someone won one in a raffle, and it was old, it broke and didnt get a whole lot of support from the company over it.

From my perspective, I bought one 2 years ago, I beat the crap out of it (it hits my roof in the whoops), and it is still going strong.

Would I buy another from them? Yes. Are there other options? Yep.

FYI, I got pulled over last weekend by the Rangers for running a red whip. No ticket, but told to turn it off. Go figure.

By the way, welcome!

I bought one of their whips off ebay for a smokin deal, it was a demo. Picked it up from their office and met the owner. That weekend in Glamis the whip broke the first day. The owner was there, so I called him up and he had me go to his camp traded it out for a better one. The next day the second one broke. Same drill, and he takes care of me with an even better one. He felt bad and did all he could to make it right. I haven't run the third one yet, but have high hopes it holds up. I will be loyal to him for the great customer service.

The one thing that still bugs is they run a fine thread mount when every other whip I've seen runs a course thread. I had to modify my base to take their whip. But again, customer service counts for alot in my book.

Yea, Murdered Out, post some pics of your ride. I wanted to go that way with mine, but went the opposite with white. I love that look though.

Thanks for doing the legwork Jimmy. That set the tone for many people, at that point, I already owned one.

I am suprised no one has said livewire yet.

But damn if I dont want one of those color changing whips. They are bad ass.

AND, when I get pulled over for having a red whip, poof, its green, mofo!

Sold one of the Chameleon and have one left, the customer is very happy with it and no issues so far, it been 6 months and many trips to Glamis.

I like the Quick light no issues so far on the wife ride. Seem a lot of peeps had issues with the older led whips and they claimed that they were made over seas and had some quality issue and that the newer stuff is made here in the US.
