That would be better then the purple?? I have ran orange and what epi sent, orange and 18. purple and 15/16. Was not happy with that one. Now have purple and 16/18. Used at Coss BAY 2 Weeks ago it was fine but you can run all stock there. have not tried purple and 16/18 at sand mountain yet. If Im not happy may try what you say.

i would get rid of those dunestars and get some skats- those are the worst tires you can have for the sand. as far as the weights like i said- stocks seem to work fine they are a 20 total- which is really close to the 18's with covers. so i think the purple with the 18/16 might be ok- give it a try since you already have the weights

Cant we all get along? lol

Thanks. I think you are right. My buddy has a 660 set up very close to mine but dune stars on front and skats on back. He weighs about 300. That thing will out pull mine and climb better even with his wife in it. Also I have an Aluminum bed. I think tires do make a BIG difference.

tires make a HUGE difference in the sand!!!-you want them light and good flowtation- those that you have just dig!
i just picked up a new set and running the new itp dual rib tires for the front- helps with better steering over the smoothie buffs and also weigh the same!-and for the rear the skat trak 7 paddles.

- give jimmy a call a byc motorsports- he can hook you up on a set

no need to thank me after you try them out
