Replace rear outer cv joint boot

I am pretty mechanical, but don't work with ATV all the time. I have a 2006 Rhino sxs 660 and a stick ripped my rear outer cv boot this weekend. A) Are they worth trying to fix on your own or would you just bring it in to have done if you have never done one before? B) Anyone have instructinos or steps to replacing this? It is the passenger side, rear out cv joint boot.

PULL THE AXLE OUT OF THE DIFF PUT IT IN A VICE TAKE THE BOOT CLAMPS OFF, SLIDE THE BOOT BACK AWAY FROM THE JOINT AND USE A BRASS HAMMER AND POUND THE JOINT OFF AFTER REPLACING THE BOOT SLIDE THE STICK BACK INTO THE JOINT MAKE SURE THE CLIP IS STILL ON THE STICK USE TWO SCREWDRIVERS AND COLAPSE THE THE CLIP WHILE COLAPSING THE CLIP HIT ON TOP OF THE INNER JOINT

Did you replace the boot? It looks simple, how did it go? Corn stalk took mine out this last weekend.
