660 Idle Problem

I have a 2007 660 Rhino that I just bought used. It starts up fine and idles fine for a while but then dies suddenly. The time before it dies ranges anywhere from 2 minutes to as much as 15 minutes. It is a little hard to start after it dies. I have it at the dealer and they can not figure out what is wrong. They have replaced the spark plug cap and cleaned out the carb. They now want to put in a new fuel pump and charge me $73 for the new pump when they do not know that this is the cause. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

fuel pump could be the problem,

check the vacuum line going from the intake to the pump for cracks first.

pull the pickup line out of the tank (4 screws) and see if crap is getting stuck in the tube, ( look for silicone)

nex time it dies, pull the gas cap off and listen for air. no air cap vent is good, lotsa air then cap is plugged or bad.

check to see if the engine cover is pinching the fuel line to carb, it happens

order the hi flow mikuni fuel pump and clear fuel line kit its like 70 bucks and throw it in urself its easy, change the fuel filter to , i think it comes in the kit,

and like rog said check it all out for kinks or rubbing on the fuel lines, the hose gets old and folds and pinches easy in spots after time...its a vacum system so it needs to keep prime u can go old skool and throw a prime bulb in there to ...
