Angry broken bevle gear!

I got the 04 660 rhino my front drive shaft that goes into lower part of ur motor or ur transmission is making a popping noise and grinding i was told this was most likly the bevle gear. now do i need to split the CASE? I read that u didnt but some say u do information would help me on this exspeacially if u did it to ur own beast thanks for your time and answers......

you most likely broke the Middle Drive gear support. it is not bad to do if you have taken one apart before. it will lay on pass side to pull apart. make sure you find all the screws and pay attention to the lengths.

you will need Yamabond or 3 bond to put back together and wet clutch cover gasket as it has to come off as well.

get a new billett one from benchmark performance, 760-484-0986 ask for Chris or Steve, they can also give you some helpful tips on the repair and proceedure. (to include retiming the cam)

Thanks I will give them a call I need to get it out and split the case to make sure, hopefully your right thats not as bad as the gear being broken also.
