Hapa's new build, I gonna fuck this thing up!

Well I took a good look at the Arctic Cat This morning.
And unless i do a bunch!!! of Gussetting I am gonna fuck this thing up!!!

Check out the welds? Look at the way they spot weld it almost. They should of carried a bead all the way along the pieces. Then again this is a farm tool right?

It does look like the welds do penetrate really well. That is critical from what I am told.

Now i want your input. Jim I know you don't like it lol. i think its a cheesey build from the factory. But I have given it a little test, and so far It held up. i want to hear input and Ideas for gussetting. i wil be hammering this thing well, Actually I have already hammered this ride harder than they probably designed it to do. I mean i have 40 miles on it. And so far it has handled the multiple drop offs i hit leaving the scene of that accident. It bottomed so hard it stopped dead one time. i was able to back out of it and keep going. It is strong so far? Not sure why its so strong? But I hit hard even for my standards.

Here are some comparible shots with my Rhino, I just got gussets before my Rhino died. But if you look at Max powers, His Rhino used to have a full boxed frame, strong as hell, not much added weight a great trade off.

Rick, I hate to say it but penetration is everything. You can run a bead the length of the frame and if it dont penetrate it aint worth shit.

i am gonna offer up our laser at work for any badass gussetts you need made, custom you know. Give me plenty of notice so i can work it in, but if you want one off gussets cut on a nearly million dollar laser, lets get together.

i will watch your build closely.
