Do you run a CVT Filter? If you do then trash it..... The added heat can cause the lube to dry out and harden....

mikef One of 4 things...

1. Bad CDI
2. Worn Belt
3. Mud in Sheave
4. Green wire with white strip came loose behind Digital Display. The reverse light may be on...

TURBO MEASURE the V belt (the belt that runs the clutch) 1.31in or 33.2mm is new..... 1.18in or 29.9mm is no good and out of specification. It sounds like its time for a new belt .. and the deal max has for that cdi is a good one and something you should get but reving out and not going really sounds like the belt.....hope this helps

max powers if you look under the hood, right next to the battery, there is a little box with three plugs going into it and one screw holding it on, it is called a cdi, or the computer for the rhino, it contains the rev limiter, you need to replace the one you have with a dynatek performance cdi.
