Thanks Rog, this will be a much mellower ride in theory. I was riding with Trigger last year when i had my bad wipeout.

This trip i will be riding with Cam and johnny so it should be easier man that just does not sound right. lol

lets just hope there are slower riders than me there this time. lol

I can't but look forward to some pics. I'll keep it in mind though that people I know are doing this and if I come across a decent baja bike for traveling you never know. For baja I want a XR650 outfitted.

The 650 hold almost 4 quarts of oil, my 450x holds less than a quart. 650 makes a lot more sense until you get in the tricky stuff, then you want the light weight with electric start.
How about a 500lb bike loaded with another 100 lbs in the middle of baja.

The when you get where your going drop your tent for the night.

Chandler This is what I would want to ride baja and you carry what you need. None of this chase truck crap.

We are going down the Pacific Coast, Ensenada to San Quitin, mostly Beach and cliffs and the coolest part of Baja temperature wise. We will probably do a little Erandera and some other inland stuff on one day. Mostly an easy ride. Ensenada to San Qutine SP? Is like 187 miles, we will do that Friday the easy way for some slower riders that will be there. Then Sat some secret stuff, beach racing and hill climb all optional, Then Sunday back to Ensenada as early as possible for me to get home. I kind of attract attention in my white Escalade on 20's with the bike on the back. And no gun

I will caravan down there on Thursday with a big crew and stay at that bitchen hotel on the beach the night before we go. But coming home I hate waiting for peeps so I might want to bone out quick. No dinner and stuff in Ensenada unless well I play it by ear.
