Thinking about personal protection

I am thinking about getting a new dog to help protect the wife and kids when I am not home. I have heard about Douberdoodles. They are hypoallergenic for my kid with allergy's and they are big smart and bad ass. What do you guys think? Not sure they are scary enough?

I was going to get a king Doby or a Rot, but It is better if it's a hypoallergenic dog

Looks like a harmless Goat

Unless you get a killer pitbull.....just get a dog that'll bark his ass off when somebody steps in your driveway....

These are kid cool and mean dogs that don't shed. All these pics they try to make them look nice. i have a little yapper noise maker already. i want a big dog that wont let anyone in the house, even if I am not home. And it will grow up with my kids so they are safe.
