Redline Revolt

Anyone out there know much about the Redline Revolt? I keep hearing mixed things.

1. Do they really go 70mph and get there quicker than a rzr?
2. Can they jump without a tumble? I hate how my Rhino nose dives, you have to have the right hill, is this the same with a Redline.
3. Do they need any mods other than paddles to get up the dune at glamis.
4. How do they do at the dunes? Is it slow and can barely get goin?
5. Are they reliable?

Is this really the badest little one seater out there for the money.

Glamispilot has a brand new RZr tricked out by UTVCrap

and he has a Redline one seater.

He got the rzr and spanked everything at the hill and in the dunes. He is a good driver with tons of experience.

So then he gets a rung out used loaner demo redline. And the redline spanks his Rzr. over and over his redline really dominated the Rzr in every situation.

They are fast and have aw some suspension. Then the redline broke? tranny went out, now it was rung out so not sure if it is fair to say they aren't reliable.

So he jumps in his Rzr and damn if that thing didn't blow ahead gasket

So right now yes they both perform really well, but I keep wondering for how long?

I run the piss out of my Rhino, i mean so does Maxpowers with his rotax and we never have a major mechanical problem knock on wood.

I will bend my suspension on the 80ft jumps sometimes if I don't hit it right, and I do jump it allot, no less than 10 a day and my Rhino just keeps going?

2. Can they jump without a tumble? I hate how my Rhino nose dives, you have to have the right hill, is this the same with a Redline.I never had a problem with my Rhino dont let off until you are in the air and it will not nose dive as bad, Redline has better suspension but a I have neve ridden one or jump them.
3. Do they need any mods other than paddles to get up the dune at glamis. No mods needed is what i heard
4. How do they do at the dunes? Is it slow and can barely get goin? They will spank most utv's if not all in the dunes
5. Are they reliable?Best question! dont know time will tell, thats the only drawback imo

not sure yet time asnwers this question, and x18 preditor will spank it for not much more money, and i mean spank it x18 preditor deserves a good look before you pay $20 for a redline

The guy at the sand show said that the price will come down after the 1st of the year and that he would sell the 2 seater for around 17k

The one seater is about 13-14k. The 2 seater is like you said 17-20k. I did look at the X-18, but the dam thing is like 108 width?? WTF were they thinking. Its basically a full size sand rail with two seats.

I would love to have an x-18, but I like trail riding and duning. For trails I ride a lus 6 rhino and it does good, so I am thinking the redline would be a cool dual sport.

Unless I'm mistaken on the x-18? But that is one Badazz machine. I would love to get one, just needs to be a little smaller for me.

Its funny the x-18 came up in this forum. I have been on the fence with it or a one seat redline. I like the redline price and size, but man oh man the videos of the x-18 in the desert look bitch'n

the redline does not look like it will hold up as a dual sport vehicle....sand vehicle yes but hard pack NO WAY!!

I had a chance to demo an XL Single Seater in Glamis over Thanksgiving. I don't know how it would do in the desert but for the dunes the thing was bad ass. I have a Rhino and have been in many sand rails. The Redline was a blast to drive. 72 hp and amazing suspension. I only wish my Rhino drove like that thing did. I don't know much about them but if you get a chance drive one.

We were in Buttercup last weekend and I was attempting to follow one through the dunes. He couldn't drive worth a crap but as soon as he could hit the gas it was gone.

I'm trying to find someone who rents or demo's as I want to take one out to the dunes for a weekend.

The tranny issue with the Redline is the major flaw in them
