Picked up an 08 2500 4x4 Chevy diesel Crew

08 crew cab with the Duramax Diesel fully loaded, don’t know shit about them.

So a few questions…

I want to lift the front up even with the rear, what’s best?

I want to change the wheels and tires after I lift the front, what’s the biggest I can go?

The fhucking exhaust tail pipe gots to go (can u say fugly) Do I cut it off and replace with tip? Or?

I don’t care about mileage but then again is there any thing I need to do to get better mileage? No I won’t slow down.

Any do and dont's or things I should know?

I’m sure I have more? Later.

PS I got an 03 Chevy 2500 4x4 crew cab in fantastic shape fully loaded and every thing is power including seat heaters for when your hauling ass in the buff Ha! Ha!

It's the one on the right.

Has 106K on it, used to go back and forth to my office (all freeway) every day last five years.

Its gas I think 6.0 if that sounds right, will let it go here cheep. Will try to post it up in a few days.

Hit me up if interested.

sweet truck. for the lift there are plenty of good companies that make front spring spacers, I prefer daystar you can get these from any offroad store. try to get a 3 in. spacer for the front & h/d bags for the rear. do not put an exhaust tip on, those are gay! I like big tires and wheels, but dont over do it, you want your truck to be as functional and efficient as you can get it, the biggest tire and wheel package does not offer that. hope you have a blast w your new truck.

Fuck'em and feed'em cabbageI have found the richer your friends are.....the more they want you to suck their asses.......I guess these fools havent figured out yet I dont suck ass ~ the bigg anonymous

yea, I didn't realize it, but I kept pulling up next to other brand new 08 F-250's and F-350's and I'm always taller then them. I finally said something the last time and my brother was in my truck with me.
He says "yea you're taller you fucktard! You got 20" wheels on this fucker. Most stock wheels are only 18's "

But I'm still about 4" taller than others... (btw - they are factory Ford 20" wheels)

a buddy of mine has an identical truck but he's got aftermarket 20's on his with the Fabtech 8" lift. He gets about 5mpg less than I do.

I'd be willing to bet he has bigger, more aggressive tires.

I have the same truck you just got and yes the tail pipe end is fugly but it is also designed to cause a venturi affect to cool exhaust temps when in re-gen so you don't melt the Honda Civics bumper next to you at a stop. They are sweet trucks, enjoy!

Here is what I recommend not sure if they have it for the 08 yet but I have heard lots of good reviews. ..:: Nor Cal Truck ::.. ..:: Online Store ::..

I have an 04 and got the bigger Bilstein Shock and cranked the torsion bars but its not the best way to go.

Worth a look into...

Also a good Forum for info...Diesel Place - Duramax Diesel Discussion Forums
