the escy has HP but not the right gears or tranny to pull your box with both the cat and susans rhino in it. id get a truck this time rick, a diesel crew cab or mega cab so all the kids fit easily and you will never be maxed out. im sure at some point you will replace the big flatbed and then you can tow 3 utv's on a trailer with a longer heavier duty truck, just my .000002

dont buy my video. it sucks anyway!!!!

man i just ran this one by Susan, we will see. I even told her she could just drive the Benz all the time.

She wants an SUV, whats the best towing Suv? If I get the new Exscalade, it will be the long one that can tow better, just not diesel.

I do have the tow pckg Blake, I have the 8000 lbs hitch and the tow pckg trainsmission, 6.0 liter engine 400hp just this cadi isnt long enough and the big issue no diesel.

i would go diesel, the mileage is insane with those things towing. you need a tow truck/suv not another wannabe rapper luxury ride. with that said a 2500 suburban or an excursion would be best, the 2500 chevy with the big gas motor and the allison tranny would be good, diesel even better.

Man i own the storage across the street i shouldn't have to tow you would think.

These are good options Blake, a fully loaded excursion and Suburban are on my list to look at.

My MH will pull all of the trailers you mentioned above, and i was thinking about a little trailer like yours for the utv maintenance runs. i could leave my 20 foot trailer there and maybe just get a 30 foot container to keep my shit in at Glamis.

The full size Escalade is bigger than the Suburban, The Diesel Exscursion is the biggest, Unless i go 4x4 Baja Van. Don't think Susan will like those.

Susan wont like Diesel as a daily driver, me either, to slow for me, to loud for her.

Kbb

In this market you will never get KBB price for it. Some dealers are offering pretty good trade in for SUV's.

"Susan wont like Diesel as a daily driver, me either, to slow for me, to loud for her".

When was the last time you drove a current diesel pickup? There is no way they are too slow or loud. I have an 06 Duramax that isn't much louder than your Caddi, once on the road she would never even know it's a diesel. As far as too slow.... you need to go test drive the new Duramax then let me know what you think about slow, then with a little upgrading the diesel will SMOKE that caddi anyday!! Good luck with the choice though sounds like you got some decisions to make.
