#70 in car cam Cinders race

This was a rough course. It was 9.5 miles and the first half was all whoops up hill. My motor runs real good and I could only get 30mph out of it in some places. If you haven't been to the Cinders they are small pebbles that you sink in. This stuff is several feet deep in some places. After all of our issues we managed to get 3rd place. A blown belt cost us 2nd place. Lost a rear axle about half way through and were fighting a temp issue again so we backed off and just tried to finish.

I would like to thank my sponsors Lone Star Racing, Alba Action Sports, PDM and A and M powdercoating for all their help. This was the fourth race on the same belt. I think that says something for the PDM clutch. If it had been anywhere except cinders I don't think we would have had an issue as the belt looked brand new at the start of the race. The Rhino got dropped off at Alba on Monday for a full engine build, exhaust with programmable MSD ignition so we should be running strong to defend our first overall at Snowflake last year. I would also like to thank my Family and Friends for their pit support. I couldn't do it without you guys.

Here is some footage from my in car cam last weekend at Cinders. Enjoy

Well congrats anyhow on the third, that is excellent!!

I give you credit, how do you manage to see through all that dust?? Maybe it is worse on the camera, but it was looking pretty thick.

Thanks, there was a little glare off the camera, but it is still difficult. I was having to back off a lot because I could not see.
