Quick report from the track:
Our local corr racers, bobby, dan, corry, austin and jacob are there along with Justin in the whiplash racer, a couple pilots and a redline. Small crowd of cars, thought it would be huge.

There are already protests about the redline, one claiming its unsafe to race on the same track with, the other that it is 500lbs lighter than a corr car and has an 800cc motor.

Qualifying in 10 min!!

I figured there would be a small turnout. There are only a few dedicated short course racers in AZ. More advertising and more notice would have probably brought some ppl from out of state.

Wow what a great event... Shit . It was quiet hardly anyone there main event had like seven cars. very low turn out they need to give more time for people to get things together in the future and if it was an entire weekend of racing it would get more people there. it was weak. oh well got to meet a few new people which was cool.

2nd place is the first loser!!

Were a whole lot faster than you think you are.

I talked to Dan Kelly earlier today, he said there was a lot of good race action out there for him to deal with...but esp Bobby VanBeekum.

Dan plainly said that even though Dan got the win, Bobby out-drove him today. Big time KUDOS to Bobby for not only clearing the triple but for always being a top contender at any race.
