New 450 Pro Kart by HRT Motorsports

Look for these new modified class 450 karts to debut April 4th & 5th at the inaugural Lucas Oil race in Primm Valley, NV.
Top drivers Brandon Arthur and Dave Mason Jr will be behind the wheel of two brand new modified trucks. Both drivers are feeling confident and are looking forward to many podiums this 2009 season.
The Pro Kart is designed around the revised 2009 modified class rule book and is purpose built for both the race track and recreation. With 1.25" 4130 chassis and proven Honda TRX450ER electric start motors, these trucks are built to last, and win.
And, adults fit in them! See 5'11" Dave Mason Jr below in action.

Come see the trucks get put through their paces this weekend in Primm!

Full press release and truck details to follow soon........

Notice the magic button on the steering wheel!
About 50 Hps to the rear wheels as seen above.

Thanks for the compliments! It is setup to take a 3 tube bypass in the rear for non race applications. The bypass isn't legal for racing so the trucks pictured have two emulsion shocks.

Chassis is available. They don't use any Trophy kart parts however. Everything on this truck was built for this purpose, other than the drivetrain. The steering rack, spindles, arms, etc, are all exclusive. The arms are symetrical, so they work on the left or roght, and so are the spindles. The spindles have tapered roller bearings and a bolt on steering arm so they are universal.
The axle, rear bearing housing, etc are all exclusive too.

We will be offering chassis roller kits as well.

Suspension cycles 13" in the front and 15" in the rear. It was built for those numbers, as they are spec'd in the race rules.

Speed will be 60 - 80 depending on gearing and tire size. As shown they are about 50 HP to the tires.

Weight has to be 780 minimum with driver for the races, but can be lower for the play version.
