Would like to buy the style where the rear shock mounts to the lower a-arm intead of the rear upper arm if the price is fair.

As far as I know every Rhino suspension mounts to the lower a-arm in the rear...

Talked to thad and he said he has changed it to where the rear shock mounts to the upper, if i understood him right. I could be wrong but i wanted to purchase another kit and he said he had changed the design a little and that was the change.

I think he means on "Top" of the rear lower arm, instead of "in" the lower rear arm.

might cause more drop Big J, depends on where he put the mount though. Thad is smart I am sure he would think of this

Since a couple of you seem familiar w/ the SCF kit I just did a swap between 2 Rhinos last week of a SCF kit and found they (who ever installed it originally-car was on its 3rd owner) installed the rear (Gorillia) axles w/o the inside axle to CV snap ring. Bitch getting the CV's out and since we were up against the clock I put it back together that way.

It worked fine this weekend, the guy drove it so hard it broke the stock exhaust and stressed the steering rack but it also tells me the axles are too short.

Anyone ever see one put together like this?

I know when I had originally when I installed mine I had a short axle....I took it back and Thad handed me a new one that was the right length.

07fj do you think thad meant on top of the rear lower a arm instead of in the lower ? Because the kit i have it has a allen bolt that run in the a-arm. If it's going on top of the lower a-arm is he still using the same length shock or is it a shorter stroke. I have a call into thad but has not called back yet.

That is what I am saying. if Thad moved the lower mount up and out (towards the wheel) then the shock should stay the same, make sense?????
