That's Bull, my harley batteries are AGM's like the rhino (and are larger) and it works just fine. take it back to the store for replacement.

it slowly charges the batt at a low amp rate and keeps the batt at peak performance and always maintains it as long it is hooked up...says it makes the batt last a lot longer because of charge maintanance....or look them up at batterytender.com... great price at chapparal motor sports.com....have to send mine back, defective unit...going to start to run hid's so i wanted my batt at peak performance.......

totally off topic...i know...but i got hooked up with 2 more 7" hid's so now i can have my light bar built with 4 of them bad boys! will i need more power to run them or would it be fine if i just get a tender...i just dont wanna spend the cash on another battery if i dont need it....right now all i have is the factory hid replacements and a livewire whip

not sure, but the tender would be good to keep your batt at peak performance, from what i remember, 4 hids and a whip would be fine for a stock system as long as the batt is good....0fj would be a good person to talk too, he should chime in.....
