please help with HID lights

Ok so I had the Rhino running in the drive way for about 15 min, and I had everything on.......stock replacement HID lights, 2 a pillar mount HID lights, Safe glo LED whip and a 300w amp for my Ipod!

All was fine for a while.......and all of a sudden my stock HID start blinking on and off.

When I turn off the pillar mounts, the stock one work fine, if I turn off everything and let it idle for a while....then turn everything back on it all good for 5 min...then the stock replacement HID start freaking out again.

So my question is.......

I am only running the stock battery, and stator.

Can I upgrade the battery and this problem will go away???

No, it will not go away, just take longer to drain your battery.

If you are going to run the amp, then only use 1 pair of lights, this will help, but not great.

You really need an alt kit to run all of that stuff, you can get one from ACI or Alba, I believe.

The lights flickering is telling you, you are loosing voltage.

Good point... I turn off a set of lights when running the amp.

stator will help some. amp is the big draw in your setup.

stator and a oddessy battery will help, or stator and two batts with an separator, kj has the part number for a good isolator.

At an Idle your stator is creating very little juice. I never even turn my lights on until I am ready to throttle down. No need to put the extra strain on the battery. But with the amp you will still kill your battery driving or not.

Rog is right but I would try a second battery. And just keep a charger on it when not in use.

I have heard from others that the after market stators are unreliable. If you want to add juice buy the alternator kit. Turbo has one that suposedly dont kill your HP running it. Maybe he will chime in.

So could I just put a battery under the seat to power just the amp, and trickle charge when not using, or would it wear out to quick?!?!?!?!
