HID Headlights

Rhino giant has a replacement kit for the stock headlights (convert them to HID), Is this the best way to go withought upgrading the stator or doing the alternator mod?

several companies have HID upgrades for rhino's and other SxS's, one of the best bangs for your money, then you also can add a couple of 4" kragen style HIds if you need more light. about $99 each.

all of this wihtout a stator or alt upgrade.

I have used this link to buy form, no probs

I got replacements from UTVcrap they lasted about 2 months (ballasts went) I now have some I got from a California place. I also put in 4 LED's 2 spots and 2floods, the LED's draw a fraction of the power and give way more light. I put in the Ridgid duallies. I got them from Canada UTV in Leduc ab. I will post some pictures and give a link. The pictures show one UTV with regualr hi-intensity offroad lights versus the led's.

I did it 2 times, installed a volt meter, got to be running pretty good or kill your battery. I now have HID replacements ( work good) and Ridgid LED lights on the roll cage, less than half the power draw and way more light. I run with just the LED duallies, I am so impressed I am putting the duallies on my wife's Rhino.
