Installing a used Superwinch T1500

A friend offered me his used Superwinch T1500 to mount on my Rhino 450. It is a semi relic, but works he assures me. He gave me the basic winch frame, motor, cable and rocker switch that is hard wired to the motor. I have ordered a mounting plate for Rhino/ Superwinch T 1500, but don't have a full concept of how to wire/ install the thing. Reading other posts tells me that the hot needs to come off the switched ignition wire, and I see two spade connectors inside the rocker switch box that I assume will be a hot and neutral but after that..... help!
Do I need a fuse box, in- line fuse, what wire gauge to use, how to route the wires, where to mount the rocker switch, etc. The other question is do I need a fairlead for the cable? I need basic installation instructions. Thanks!

superwinch

You need to have a contactor to put between switch and winch. Go to their website or Google wiring diagram for superwinch with your model. Hope this helps.
