Rhintax comes to life

In the PB account listed here - a short camera phone vid of the 2nd fireup of 800 with Muzzys equal length headpipes and no mufflers - sounds like a nitro fuel car guys! Sunday PM did a shop shakedown on jackstands to check everything out and to measure the driveshafts' runout. Close, but not perfect, so am aware vibs may happen at 100 MPH Drove unfinished car out of shop, rolled back and forth a dozen times to look/listen for ????, did a short low-range chirp, backed up and layed 2 long black ones in hi-range. Wife got home, drove around the off-the-beaten-path lake roads (no hood or cage, lots of weird looks from passerbys). Need to finish the engine cover fitment and install top.....Life's Gooooooooood...... LBR

Had the new Muzzy exaust on the Rhintax tested Saturday by the Forest Service. The Florence area is restricted to 93 Db. The Rhintax has a bone stock 800 and blew a 92.7 on the Decibelizer with 1 hour on the new pipes. Will be interesting what a couple hundred hours will increase it to.....LBR
