Dune flag/whip question

I have been told that if I pull a trailer behind my Rhino in the dunes, the trailer must have it's own flag/whip.
True, false, or pure BS?

Probaly if you were pulling it literally through the dunes, which is gonna be a hard task, you might need one, but not if your pulling it down the road to your camping spot. If you disconnect your truck and drive it anywhere other than the pavement, you'll need one on your truck.

I actually have pulled it in the dunes, (without a whip) no biggie except for the huge stuff, and you gotta watch those approach/departure angles.

It allows me to: (multiple choice)
A) Carry more beer
B) Haul more crap during dune cleanups
C) Get lots of attention
D)Pull more weight so my Rhino doen't go so fast

07fj- I think you're right, I'll add one just to be safe. Thanks.

Well damn you need to have a long travel trailer built for your rhino. That would get some attention and you can still haul ass and jump
