Well I am looking into starting a class action lawsuit against Yamaha for the construction of the rhinos' motor. the 660 model. it is a well known fact that these things grenade left and right and cause a lot of damage, yet I have yet to see the dealer or Yamaha step up and say " we completely redesigned that engine for a reason" and I have heard more than enough horror stories about the dealer backing out of a warranty.
Now I know to some this may seem low, but the way Yamaha has acted every time I call them with an issue, more than justifies this ordeal. I have had issues with both a 2006 WR450 and a 2006 rhino 660, I call to tell them issues and ask questions and I am always left in the dark and am forced to figure out the problem by myself (like and entire year of re-jetting for altitude on the WR just to find out that it's something else (TPS unplug.))
I feel that I've spent a crap load of money, been screwed left and right by HSBC (yamaha's credit card that they snuck on me with a 16.99APR!!!) and overall swindled by Yamaha, HSBC, and RIDE NOW. (ride now NEVER mentioned that It was a credit card ordeal with an adjustable APR, now I will be paying three times what the rhino's worth in the long run.)
just to get two vehicles that have questionable reliability.
I will have a hard time buying another Yamaha product, let alone any new product that involves payments, credit cards, warranties, questions etc. the world is churning out too much crap that isn't worth anything and wont last more than a year.
any thoughts or comments, should I just suck it up and think of it as a learning exp. that is always on my mind, night or day.
or try to get some things that bother me everyday, worked out by the bastards screwing me...
Yes I am venting and I know nothing about lawsuits, or if it's even still possible to do one....
