UPDATED Problems!!Backfiring, Sputtering, Loss of power and heat...

I have an 06 Rhino with only 211 miles on it.I am kind of new to Rhinos, but I do have some mechanical knowledge. Last night, my rhino sounded a little louder, and I felt more hot air than normal coming up from the engine compartment. All fluid levels are normal. When I hit top speed and the Rev limiter kicks in, it almost stalls, then backfires a couple of times. It never completely stalls, just loses power and slows almost to a stop, but then I can start again and get on it like nothing was wrong. Due to the getting louder, backfiring and heat from the engine compartment, I am thinking it may be the exhaust manifold cracked real bad or came lose. Does my thinking sound correct? I could not see anything last night, so I will lay eyes on it when I get home. Just looking for possibilities for now...

I'd start with looking for exhaust leaks and vacuum leaks in the carb boots.
sometimes a crack in the boot will cause that, then move to the fuel lines and filter.
make sure the spark plug is good and attached well, it could be a little loose.

pretty common for the exhaust nuts on the head pipe to come loose, i would look there first.

depending on how hard your into the rev limiter, this could be normal.

Check the whole exhaust for cracks and leaks like stated. BTW, what exhaust is it? Stockers can blow out the gasket where they couple together and cause backfiring.

Also, did you check the bleeder screw to see if it is full of rad fluid?, or just the rad cap?
