How do the new whips hold up? Which generation are they as I have had 3 (2 under warranty) and they have all broke within a total of twelve trips to the dunes. I finally just gave up........................

The whip he is referring to is a fiber optic whip that they just released. You are probably speaking of the LED whips right?

Yup... Thanks DP...

Yes they are the new Fiber Whips... So far they look strong (4 footer) and beefy. The real test will be this weekend as I have to delivery a whip to one customer and then we will do our own test in two weeks. I can say that the guys at SafeGlo do stand behind the product.

Yes it was the LED version GEN II, GEN III and I think Gen IV. As I stated 2 broke after being warranted and I finally just gave up because of the hassle. Safe-Glo did stand behind the product but honestly I would find it hard to give them another chance.

3 strikes your OUT.

WOW they took care of you huh? I bought one and it broke then they wouldnt warranty it. The one i bought was out at a vendor in the dunes and was a old one i guess. So i bought two more that were new and they broke within about 3 rides. Maybe the "new" ones are better but all the ones ive seen SUCKED!!

I have beat the living hell out of mine (LED version) and it keeps coming back for more. It bangs into my roof when I ride, and I treat it like crap.

I read about the problems some people had, it sucks. I thought it was some issues with very old stock or something, but cant speak from anything but experience, and it has been good.

I would order another one from them for sure.
