Todays TRASH in canyon !!

Well , Today the wife and I thought we would try to clean-up the trail in Bee Canyon ( Hemet to Pine Cove ) a little bit .

We had a small trash can for the alum. cans and 5 gallon buckets for the bottles and plastic . Started about noon / finished at 5:30
And we didn't go ALL the way up even ....
so with a small fishing net in hand we had a game of scoop-up the trash( ever try to pick up something from a moving rhino ?? )

Hers's the results ...............
Hard to belive THAT much trash on the trail
Must of been a BUSY weekend !!!!

Now I'll have enough money to buy that Rhino Mayhem DVD I've been wanting ..

While we were up there the weather started to change and a fall weather system started to move in
Got some wind ( Forest Service meet us at shotgun flats with a truck and engin unit and spotting plane . They had a call from someone ...Thought it was smoke / Just some big dust devils on trail )

!!!! NEXT weekend on SAT Morning > :: BIG Clean-up at Bee Canyon !!!!

Even had a few sprinkles
Here's a picture coming down the trail ::

Looked like a scene from The Ten Commandents..!!!

The trails are a LOT of fun still

We can put on 40 + miles on a good day ride

The trail going to Ranger Peak is still closed be cause of the Espranza fire 2 a few years back

I just get PISSED when you go out on the trail , in the back country and see Beer Cans ...Plastic bottles ....GLASS !!bottles on the trail ..

I go out to enjoy the trails , the scenery, The open space
Not see Bud Light cans reflecting in the sunlight on the trail .

Be it from no-brain people driving thru...
Hunters hanging out ( Deer season in these hills now and I've seen the remains from some ((I said some )) of thier stops)..
or just weekend warriors..!!!!!

Don't get me wrong ...I'm no tree -hugger ... But seeing CRAP on the trail just hits a wrong spot !!!

And people wonder why their favorite party trail gets shut down ...

Thank you for making a difference! I hate it when people do that, just gives reasons for closures

Hapa- ''When I checked into my motel, I said to the lady at the desk:

"I hope the porn channel in my room is disabled."

"No," she said, "it's just regular porn, you sick bastard."
