New UTV/Side by Side

If you were going to buy a new utv what would you buy now with all the new side by sides out now and coming out, and why ? I sat in a new razor and didn't like how small it was compared to rhino.I know its faster and all but seems to low. Terx was nice to sit in, more like rhino. We go to dunes a lot and some desert. I had a 2 seat rhino, not sure if I want to 4 seat but liked the room in bed.

Thanks
Paul

Teryx is a great solution, Rzr is faster, Arctic cat 1000 is bigger and faaster than both by alot, and there is a new side by side coming out from Can Am that will spank everything, but it is still unproven IMO

I'd wait for the can-am, If I could'nt wait I would have to flip a coin for the rzr r or the arctic cat 1000

If the RZR is too small for you, I'd get a 2009 Teryx.

Not worth waiting for a Can Am - It will probably be really nice, but who knows when it will hit the market.

Teryx vote here, more power potential and the stock suspension is tougher than the rhino.

Probablly sometime after the government bans thier production. The next meeting is in April. If they can skew the numbers enough Side by sides will go the way of the 3 wheeler by May.

If I had it to over again I may have looked a little closer at some of the used Rhino Rotax w/ long travel for sale it seems to be a buyers market and could have got a lot more for my money or get the the Arctic Cat 1000

I went to Hahm Motorsports(sp?) in Anacrime June' 08 and sat in the big 3 Rhino, RZR, Teryx, I knew the RZR was faster but seemed small and flimsey. The Teryx felt much better but was to plain on the dash and felt to much like my 03 Mule I wanted something new. Test number 2 I brought my Girlfriend with me I didn't tell her which one I was leaning towards. I had her sit in all 3 and gave her small facts when she sat in the RZR I told her this one is faster then that one etc. I ended up picking the 08 FI Rhino SE in either Brushed Alum or Midnight Armor. Girlfriend ended up picking the Rhino Brushed Aluminum So that's the one I bought.

If the Arctic Cat 1000 was out when I bought my rhino it may have been a different story. The money I spent on my rhino's CDI, Intake, Sheave, exhaust may have just went to Doors, long travel on AC1000, I think the 80+MPH would have kept me entertained for a while with out wanting to do any motor upgrades!

Knowing a little about your story I would be looking for a cheap stock 06-07 under 7k and swap out my built motor and long travel and sell/part the donor out you could probably get back 4k selling stock motor and all the rest of the parts
My $.02

I would buy another rhino but I would get the accessories installed on it when I buy it instead of trying to buy them now that I don't have a job.
