Changing a shreaded belt

Anyone ever have to do this........Wow what a pain in the ass. I worked for an hour at tryiong to get all of the little belt threads off the seconday pully. Ill post a pick of all the crap that came off there when I get everything cleaned up

Make sure theres no pieces of rubber behind the clutches to sometimes there hard to see or feel.

I pulled the primary completely off and apart. All my rollers were outta track.I am hoping there is noting behind the secondary. I am going to blow behind it to see if there is anything else in there.

I got a question?????? Anyone ever only run half the cover bolts????? There must be 20 of them damn bolts in there.....I bet half would hold plenty good enough

Make sure you put the bolts that go to the outside sheave support cage back on... they help support the support cage... lol You know... the two in the middle of the cover.

You get a lot of vibration if you don't... that's how it felt to me anyways.

I said fuck it and put all of em back in except for one of the front ones thats hard to get to

I only run 4 bolts on my cover. So that in a race if I have to change a belt it will be faster.
