Oil.... Everywhere!

Okay...not everywhere... but I was unloading the BEAST from the trailer today and there was about a 1/4 cup of oil on the wood of the trailer... I was like WTF... not me... tell me my case didn't crack open!!!! So I pulled it off, cleaned up the area where the oil was and let it sit for a minute. I noticed the front drive shaft was a little loose... so I put my fingers under where the nut holds the front u-joint to the shaft that goes into the engine, and found oil... then I grabbed the nut and it was loose... I could of backed it all the way out... loose.

Soooo.... who has had this happen to them... did it fuck up a shaft seal... is it leaking just cause the nut came loose... should I just tighten it up and keep an eye on it??? Give me the good, the bad, and the ugly...

I'm just glad it's not a cracked case...

I like the way you think Bigpimpin...

Any tricks to be able to tighten that nut... doesn't look like much room to get anything in there without removing the u-joint....

Tighten it back up and run it. This has happened to many Rhinos. It happened to our first race car. It has happened on completely stock cars.
It doesn't damage the seal at all. Tighten it and you're good to go.
