1 st service question>>>>

I was told buy a buddy that you have to have yamaha do the first service on your rhino or it voids the warranty? Is this true. Also i was told buy the same guy that you have to do the first service before so many miles or hours or this also voids the warranty is this also true. The reason that i am asking is that i have 415 miles on my 08 with 52 hours logged on her.She runs great.

I would check your valve lash....they are suppose to be done after your first 20hrs. My exhaust was off a lil.....do them your self fairly easy if you are somewhat mechanical. As far as voiding your warranty Im not sure.

Do yourself a favor and read your owners manual, all the info is there in detail.
You do not have to have it done at the dealer, but the first service was supposed to be done at 20 hours.

If all else fails, follow the instructions.

Why worry about the first service....... the Rhino only has a 6 month warranty on it. Unless of course you got sucked in and bought the extended warranty. Shit my rhino had half the original stuff swapped out the first week so I thought why buy a warranty.

Just check the valves as they dont always need to be adjusted but make sure you change the oil and filter to remove all the break in metals.

mine had about 55 hours on it before i took it in for service. they told me the first one is supposed to be done at 10 hours...Ooops! mine runs amazing though and i haven't had any problems at all. they recommended bringing it in every 50 hours from here on out, but i personally think you could call 10 different dealerships and get 10 different answers! seems none of the employees know what they're talking about and just makes me wanna someone!

I did my first service at 15 hours I think. I try to do regular oil changes every 200 miles.

WEAR IT.

if your getting your valves adjusted due yourself a favor and remove the cage before you go if it's a 4 seater and maybe mark the bolts with a crayon or marker to tell if they really adjusted your valves for the $$.
