new wing better than old?

Opinions needed before I send the new wing sides to powdercoat tomorrow. New wing sides are the raw aluminum ones and set the wing higher for better visibility. Also I was really bored and wanted to improve what I had. I thought the old one was too small in scale. Here's before and after pics. Is it off-road worthy, or too much like fast & furious(street racer)? Opinions wanted, good or bad.....

They look a WHOLE lot bigger. Kinda hard for me to compare though without seeing them on the car. Might look kinda big.. cant test mount them to see how they look?

is there a reason for them? are you doing a rear light? or is it just for looks? to be honest i think if they are not functional then they are kind of ugly and will add weight.

Now if they are for a rear light set up i understand and would run them if I were racing desert and was worried about getting rear ended by a trophy truck.
