Question Gorilla axle problems

I have gorrilla axles and CVs with a plus 6 xxxrhinosports L.T. I have had a lot of problems with the pass side axle pulling out of the cv. When I have my rhino jacked up in the rear with the tires off the ground the axle seems to plunge easy but when I have the rhino on the ground the axle doesnt plunge, is that normal ? Does anyone know what I can do to fix this problem without have to shit can the axles and CVs. I'm tried of having to fix that side after every trip Thanks

Are the axles new? They say that gorrilla does not debur their CV's and that it will happen until you get them broke in.....OR...You axle is too short. I would reccomend pulling off your shock and cycle the suspension from full droop to full compression. Your axle is at its longest point when it is completely flat. If you get it flat and it doesnt have 1/4 end play...its too short.

I dont remember the length...but you wont get a good measurement without taking it apart

I got my measurement when I broke the end of the axle where the c-clip goes so I know its 25. Thru the whole cycle of the travel I should have at least a 1/4 play if not its short

Your most important spot is when the axle is flat...Thats your longest point. At that poit you will have close to 1/4 inch of end play

I will pull off the shock Tomorrow and see where I'm at. Might be a shot in the dark but if there's no play where would I start to try to get the right size axle ? Also congrats on 4000 posts lol

Hah...thanks...I would start with calling gorrilla and telling them what kit you have and the length of your axle...may be stuck buyin a new oneor they may work with you depending on how old it is

No worries bro!!!Good Luck Axle problems suck. It took me about 4 trips to figure out I had a short axle. Once I got it figured out and swaped had good luck every since.
