Naked Tailgate

Does anyone have a pic of the tailgate without it's skin? I just changed my plastics and don't want to buy a new tailgate. I was thinking of stripping off the old skin and seeing if what was left was usable. If not, does anyone have any cheap tailgate ideas. I don't want to re-paint it because it is painted to match the old plastics. I would like to keep that set intact.

Thanks

I saw someone that had grinded off the YAMAHA on the tail gate, sanded it smooth , then painted it.

Well, I went ahead and just took the tailgate apart. Now I know, the skin is actually the tailgate. I will just fab up a steel bar with some expanded metal to cover the tailgate hole. I basically don't want to spend any money, so I can just make this out of spare stuff. Thanks for the replies.

That shaved down tailgate looked good. I thought about doing that after I saw the pix. Then I started drinking icy cold beers and the A.D.D kicked in
